IN-LAW Reunions??
Kirk's Uncles and Aunts Kirk's Mom, Wanda Warner, passed away 30+ years ago. But, every other year on the first Saturday in July the family gathers for a reunion.
This year it was near our home on the 4th of July.
The aunts and uncles who age from simi-old (born in 1940)to REALLY OLD (born 1922) said that this was the last reunion that they were going to plan and asked the next generation if they wanted to keep having reunions.
Quickly several of the cousins said that they would happily carry on the tradition that has been going on for over 30 years.
I am not very comfortable around people I do not know well. Even if it is a "family" gathering.It was funny when Dru came and introduced herself to me "in person" come to find out...Kirk's cousin is one of my "Facebook" friends!
and as the torch is passed from one generation to the nextthe following generation is waiting in line to carry on the memories.
