Do you remember the day that the World Trade Center was hit?

Is it because of the catchy date 9/11/ or because it is still so fresh in our memories...

BUT

What year did the towers fall?

Do you remember there was barely a home without a flag flying or an empty seat in any church in the country?

Did you write in your journal about September 11th 2001; Your feelings, fears and prayers?

Did you write GOD BLESS AMERICA?

Is your flag still flying?

Do you still attend church and pray for God to PLEASE Bless America?

Or in just 9 years have we forgot?

Just a thought....

It still scares me very much to think about seeing the second plane hit the towers...I was sick and terrified that this happen in our country. Of the many Innocent peoples who's lives were taken by a group of people that had nothing on their mind but being COLD BLOODED KILLERS.

9/11

It is hard to believe that it has already been 8 years since this horrible day.

One thing I have learned in the past month and a half that I have been out of the country is we as American´s LOVE OUR COUNTRY...we fly our flag... and we fight for what is right.

Today not one time did I hear...do you remember...

I will never forget that morning when I watched the 2nd plane hit while watching in horror on TV.

and never prouder than when that all the flags were flying...and churches across our country were full...and we as Americans were kind to EVERYONE.

I wish as we say...I will not forget...we don´t forget what we did the next day!

Fly Your Flag

On Thursday, September 11th, 2008, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States . Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this seventh anniversary of one our country's worst tragedies. We do this honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms. In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity.
Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds.
