Guess Who Will Be A Big Sister

I GET TO BE A GRANDMA AGAIN!!

Josh and Ali

are celebrating their 2nd wedding anniversary today!

2 Years!!!

The funny part is that it seems that Ali has been part of our family "forever".

We love having her as a daughter and appreciate how she put ups with takes care of Josh.

I still can remember like it was yesterday when Josh and I went to Twin Falls and he shared his feelings for Ali and that he wanted to marry her. 

They were married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

They had their reception the same night in Burley.

and with any good reception you can bet there will be a mess made on the couple's car.

I could not believe all the people that came to congratulate them and celebrate in their happiness.

You have to love it when you see your children happy.

Congrats Josh and Ali wishing you many more years to come.

I Got To See My Grandbaby!!

Josh and Ali had invited Valerie, Ali's mom and myself to the very first ultra sound of their baby.
It really was amazing to watch the little baby's arms move and fingers and see all 4 chamber of the heart beating with the red and blue colors...

Ali asked is it a boy??? With a hopeful tone in her voice....ummm the answer would be

Pretty sure Josh is going to have a "Daddy's Girl" They gave a picture to both of us grandmas!!

Happy Father's Day

I have heard as a little girl, I was a real "daddy's girl"... I am the oldest of 5 siblings. I am not sure when that changed, maybe when the first son was born...

My father and I are a lot a like:STRONG WILLED

Stubborn

pig headed

what ever you want to call it...

we seldom see eye to eye.

When my dad said he was coming for Josh and Ali's wedding...I will admit I was really FREAKED OUT! We hardly get along in the same State for a day let alone in the same house for several days.

I have to admit, I am glad he was here for Josh and Ali.
I know that my dad's health makes it very difficult for him to travel and so I know this was a great sacrifice for him.

I know I don't say it enough to him...but I do love him. He is my father...
he taught me to be a hard worker, he provided for my family
and
I know in his way...he loves me too.

Carpet In...

My brother Morris is alot like Kirk...they can pretty much make, fix or do anything they want...
So, they went to Josh and Ali's and put carpet in their new house.

Kira even helped to make sure that it was soft!

Dream House

Josh and Ali have been approved to buy their 1st home.

It is a cute cira 1918 house.

Because of it being a "repo"

they have to do the inspection repairs.

After just one day of elbow grease, painting and tree trimming it is already gaining its own little character. (much more work was done after this photo too)
With this type of detail still on the house. It has a great many possibilities!Congrats Josh and Ali! We are excited for you, even if you will be "townies"
