Reku's New Home

When Josh asked if he could have Itsey's puppy, I thought o.k. this will be easy...
He was given the name "Reku"...I am not real sure of where Josh came up with the name but it was now HIS puppy and he could name him what ever he wanted..
Reku is a funny little dog...spazy even...but one of his favorite places to hang out was on Kira and snuggling in her hair. His most favorite next to his mommy
I took Itsey with us to Josh and Ali's.
Josh and Ali were so excited to see Reku arrive...

I knew this day was coming...but I didn't realize how hard it was going to be...

SEXY VOICE

If you wake up with a sexy-deep voice ...no not NEXT to you...
BUT If YOU
have a sexy deep voice when you wake up and a cough that feels like you are going to cough up a lung or pee your pants or BOTH...
You might just have BRONCHITIS.
My doctor prescribed a "Z-pack" of antibiotics.
I just checked out WEB MD and it says that the cough can last up to 3 weeks in a healthy person.
GREAT...
at least I am no longer contagious!

What’s For Dinner?

So, I admit I have been a little unorthodox about dinner the last few weeks!

But, the Nephews and Nieces are not complaining!

with doughnutsdoughnuts

Recipe:

This is really my scone recipe. I use a Kitchen Aid to mix with the bread hook. It is very soft dough. I add a little extra flour after they have proofed.

3/4 Cup Warm Water

1 Tablespoon Yeast

3 Tablespoons Shortening

3 Tablespoons Sugar

(Let “grow”)

Add 1 1/2 Cups Warm Milk

1 teaspoon of Salt

5 Cups of Flour

Roll on floured towel or board. Cut into doughnut shapes.

Add to warm oil, as it raises to the top of the oil flip doughnut over. Let the doughnut become a light brown.

Frost with …what ever you like or cinnamon & sugar or powdered sugar

Bribe...

O.K. I have never had a nephew or niece not want me to be their "best friend".
I know "Ham" has issues that make it more difficult to interact with strangers...
BUT I am on the look out for the BEST BRIBE!
Heck, the other morning he gave me a hug after I let him have Apple Jacks and Sprite for breakfast...
I think I am on the right track...hehhehe
Tonight for dinner...
Waffles and Chocolate Sauce!

Family...

The Wedding is over...and now it hits me how lucky I am to have a close family...
The cousins all enjoy each other
the age difference doesn't seem to matter
Here are the cousins (minus Josh and Derek and Adam...who didn't want to be in the picture) oldest to youngest
Tallest to Shortest...We had to have a measure off between Chad and Brady
Chad wonChad and Kira have always been close friends even when you are 2 states apart. The hardest part for me is when everyone starts getting ready to leave.
Morris, Rhonda, MaKay and Chad were the first to go.Because my family is not a "huggy, kissy family" this picture is priceless
Though I am sure that somebody is about to be goosed! Then Rowland and his family left for home. My dad went to stay with then for a day before flying back to Arizona'Lene and her children are going to spend a few weeks with us. Her husband left yesterday, which was sad to see him get on the plane and his little Ham...wanting to go with him.

I am lucky...and I know that
