But we do....
Is your flag still flying?
Do you still attend church and pray for God to PLEASE Bless America?
Or in just 9 years have we forgot?
Just a thought....
It still scares me very much to think about seeing the second plane hit the towers...I was sick and terrified that this happen in our country. Of the many Innocent peoples who's lives were taken by a group of people that had nothing on their mind but being COLD BLOODED KILLERS.
LEST WE FORGET......

I do remember the gulf war. I had a yellow ribbon. Two actually. One said Desert Shield and the other Desert Storm. I had a pen pal whom I wrote. He was about my age. I think that is what scared me the most.
As for 9/11...I can't even see those numbers together without the images haunting me. I try (when it comes up) to impress on my children what that day felt like. How scary it was. I know they don't fully understand, and I pray to the good Lord that they never have to.
This post was powerful. Thank you for your words.
This was a truly amazing post. Thank you, thank you for sharing it. I try to remember. There is so much sometimes. Your post brought it all to mind.
Thanks for the much-needed reminders. With all of the garbage going on in the world today, it is so important to remember that so many brave people have given so much so that we can have the lives that we enjoy.
I am so glad you stopped by my blog. This morning I was up way before I should've been and saw that you were new. I am so glad to have met you. I am glad that you have had miracles in your life especially with your new heart.
In August 2006 at the age of 40, my husband had bypass surgery. To us it was if he had gotten a new heart. I have a love, I mean real love for heart patients. You see, I am a nurse who truly loves taking care of all people, but when a heart pt comes to the floor I am so in love with caring for that person. I pray you may continue to heal and enjoy your life.
I can't wait to see where this new meeting takes us. :)
