This has been a crazy Spring with lots of rain and very cool weather.
But, this past week has had more seasonal weather and this week we will be in the 90's
So, what happens when you combine snow in the mountains, lots of rain and 90*.
YES...a high Snake River...
It has been several years since our last flood...our dock was completely underwater other than about 6" of the posts!
Kirk has built a retaining wall, and as you can see the river is coming in behind it.
As if he doesn't have enough to do, the great Snake River is wanting to take our dock apart...We will wait until after the water goes back down before we start putting the boards back on the dock that are lifting up.
But, I would not trade living on this amazing river for a little high water.
