Quiet Please

What have I been doing...Not blogging...
I have been watching these little girls that have more energy than anyone should have
or at least a lot more than what I have!
but today...they decided it was going to be a quiet pajama day,
Pillows, blankets, "suckies" and Tangle playing on the TV.
AWESOME!

Even Evie decided she was going to have quiet day.

I got a few things done PLUS was able to blog!

My Little Ladies

Josh, Ali and the girls came over the other night.
We were hoping to get a couple of pictures of the girls in their cute
BIG sister/ LITTLE sister shirts.

Miss  C does not like flashes from cameras so she was already covering her eyes.
Miss EV was just not in the mood.

Miss C let me get a picture of her
as Miss EV just wanted her momma.

After realizing we were not going to have luck with the pictures, the girls went and climbed into the snuggle chair to visit.
Grabbing our cameras we started to snap as many pictures as we could.
( My thought was we should get at least one good one)
The girls would sing
"CHEEEEZZZZZEEEEE"
but still getting them to both look at the camera at the same time.
We even tried to sneak Miss EV in for a few of the shots.
Still no luck getting all the eyes looking up at the same time.
Soon, all were tired of the camera so we put them away.
But, I thought we got some cute little candid shots.

AND
Look at our youngest little lady.
She is such a sweety and I can not believe how much she is changing.
She is so alert and sweet.
I am feeling pretty blessed.

26 Months of Changes and Blessings

I was looking through pictures of our grand daughters today when they were all just new.
In just 26 short months we have been blessed with these amazing little girls in our family.
 2010
Miss C ~ 2 weeks old

2011
Miss H ~ 2 months old

and
2012
Miss E ~ 2 days old

The other thought I had looking at the pictures...
vain I know...
But, I am glad the biopsy bruises and Prednisone side effects
are not quite as obvious.
Life is so very, very good.

I Know What All Grandma's Think...

they have the cutest and smartest Grand babies...
So then that gives me the right to say...
I have the funnest Granddaughter.
I get the privilege of watching Miss Celes when her mommy, Ali has to work.
Kira had laid her down for a nap and I went to check on her to see if she was still asleep.
And there setting in the port a crib was Miss C just setting up and looking around.
I know it looks like she is propped up , but she is not.

So, I pushed laid her back down and told her she was way to young to being doing that trick!
I love being a grandma...it is totally AWESOME!

I AM A GRANDMA!

WELCOME
Celes Marie
Born June 21, 2010
5:44 pm
7lbs 2 oz
19 1/2 inches
What an amazing experience to see my first grandbaby enter this world.
You would have thought that Ali was giving birth to her 10th baby...she did such a great job...Josh was her counting coach, his emotions made it hard for me to control my tears.
When Celes arrived she was not to big on the breathing thing
but with a little encouragement she was doing great in no time and was a pretty pink.Josh was so excited and happyPoor Ali had to wait about 20 mins before she got to hold her,
but Celes recognized her mom's voice and the moment was placed in her arms settled right in. Kirk and I were so excited to get to touch her
but even more to hold her
Welcome my new granddaughter
Celes I love you our sweet little grandbaby...
Grandma can not wait to spoil you!
