No Trick or Treaters

I know that it is crazy...but I miss not having trick or treaters.
Each year we have between 0 and 5 kids stop by.
This year was a BIG ZERO...
We always have really good treats because  of so few visitors.
This year...HALLOWEEN CUPCAKES.

I am just glad I got to hang out with my 2 favorite little
treats.
my little Miss C as a ladybug.
and Miss H as the "cutest" witch.
So, darn cute!

Post Halloween

I know I said I was going to show you all the cool things we made yesterday...
Yea...I only took one picture...

I will admit I was kind of bummed that I don't have any of the cute cupcakes with cute head stones or with the worms coming out of the dirt... but...they were really cute and a HUGE hit at our Harvest dinner at the church.

But we also did this...
I can not find the pictures of Josh, Ali and Derek carving their pumpkins too...
I will keep looking...
But here is Kira's 1st jack-o-lantern
and this is the first time Sergio has ever carved pumpkins...he said it was Kira...heheheee
Kira dressed up " the little one" for Halloween

I LOVE that my kids are not so "grown-up" that they can not have fun.
 Sergio went as a pirate
Derek was dressed in the favorite 70's outfit. Josh was a umpire
Ali was a punk star and Celes was a kitty cat.
The pictures of them must be with the carving pumpkin pictures.
We had a great time at the church dinner and then went to visit family and then
back to the house to carve more pumpkins and watch a scary movie...
EDWARD SCISSORHAND...
yep that was the best we could do at 11pm
Hope your Halloween was safe and wonderful.

Halloween Decor and a BLACK CAT

Yes, I know there are only a few more days of October...
But I promise my decorations were up by the...um...15th.....yea that sounds good...

Today, my sweet friend Lorna brought this over to me...

Do you see what it is? YES it is a black cat...but look closer....
HOW CUTE IS THAT!
I found the instructions HERE on the SUNSET web site.
It suggests that you carve the eyes out...
I like Lorna's better because it will last so much longer.
Lorna you can come get pumpkins from my pumpkin patch anytime!
by the way she won 1st place for decorations from a pumpkin at Zeb Bell's Great Pumpkin Party.
