I am so glad that Lelly has started her SPT (SELF PORTRAIT TUESDAY) again


After reading my sister, Lene's I was ready to go crawl back in bed...

But...This is MY SPT though I am not in it...
This is the view from my room, behind that storm are the beautiful Wasatch Mountains (remember them from the SLC Olympics)
I am told I will leaving this afternoon...after the IV people come to teach me how to take care of my PICC line at noon...OH WAIT it is almost 4PM...
Hey, at least I have a nice view.

SPT ~ I Think It Would Be Romatic To...

I am NOT a romantic person, so for me, this is a very difficult question.

I know Kirk would love to take me to Paamul, Mexico, where he has gone diving or on a Caribbean Cruise

But, to be honest I am afraid to travel out of the States.

Yes, these are pictures he took while he was on his diving trip!

I would be perfectly happy at home, with Chinese take-out, a good movie, my pj's and blanket just snuggled up to Kirk.

That is perfection.

But, then she can play just fine with out me.

As you can see, this picture is missing me...mostly because it is on top of a cold ski mountain, two things I do not do...skiing or cold! But, I loved that two of the people I love so much took it of themselves!

Can I just tell you how much I HATE pictures of me...BUT I love SPT...so, tonight as I was driving home in the rain, I thought to my self, "SELF! You haven't done your SPT for today! So, beings that I carry my fancy little pink camera everywhere with me...I started snapping pictures ...

Did I mention it was raining....and DARKWHATHE!

Lelly invited us this week to SPT on HOPE

I should have saved THIS post for my SPT.

I HOPE... I hope for... I WILL hope...

As I write the word hope I keep thinking it needs an ACTION word to go with it. We can hope all we want but if we do not do anything to change ourselves or our surroundings than it is just a word.

I can HOPE for "world peace" but if I am unkind to my neighbor than it is just a word.

I can HOPE to be healthy, but will I quit eating my tube of Pringles each night watching late, late TV.

or

I WILL Hope that I can find a miracle in everyday. by doing so I will.
