Do You Have A Place...

...you can drop in and always feel like you are

I am a really strange person...

I just do not like to go to other people's houses. I LOVE a house full...if it is at my house. This even goes for some of my dearest friends and family. I do great at my siblings homes...but that is about it.

But, this is one of the few places I can drop in on and I am as comfortable as if I were at my own home..

 When I get to the front door...even if nobody is home at the moment...I feel comfortable and at peace.

 This home is my sister-in-law, Pennie and her husband Tony's.

Kirk and I made a quick trip to Idaho Falls for a missionary homecoming.

I was hoping that Pennie was home from her trip she had taken with her younger sister.
I called to see if she was home and she was, she arrived back in Idaho late last night.

I told her we were in I.F. and wondered if we could stop by.

Like I even had to ask.

I am so lucky not only do I have amazing siblings...
But my in-laws are wonderful.
I know that Pennie seldom has time to look at a blog, so she will probably never see this post.
But, none the less...I will and I will feel grateful each time I do.

 She let me raid her flowers for seeds for next year!

They are almost as beautiful as her.

Thanks, Pennie for being such a pillar in my life.

Yes, this is the same frame I used for my "Vintage Valentines" I removed the Valentines and added March scrap book paper with a few jewels.
I decorated with plastic coins, green and gold tissue paper from the dollar store,
colored "rocks" and the most AWESOMEST (YES that is a word!)cross stitching, from my sister in law, Pennie. I love how the colors reflect on the wall.
I feel Spring in the air!!!

Thanksgiving & Gingerbread

Our Thanksgiving Day was wonderful... We ATE and ate
some even thought they could "work in a little more room"

We snuggled and playedand visitedand THEN Kirk's sister, Pennie came in with HUGE bags of candy and

gingerbread house pieces...and said ...

"this is a tradition we started a few years ago.

Every Family gets to make a gingerbread house to take home" I have decided that you can tell allot about someone

by the type of Gingerbread house they build.

Some are so darn talentedand creativeYEA, I KNOW...I AM A LITTLE SICK AND TWISTER!

Busy day in Idaho Falls

My Sister in law is about to be a grandma, this will not be the first to call her "Nana" she has 12 grandkids. Eight of those children are accually nieces and nephews, but Pennie and her husband raised her 3 younger siblings after her mother passed away 30 years ago. She is an amazing mom, sister, wife and aunt...and Nana.
The newest member of the family will be here next month. They have picked the name Carson for him.


My nephew is serving a mission for the LDS Church. He is serving just outside Idaho Falls, so I went and checked on him! He only has 98 days until he goes home!

When I got home, I was tired but happy, and mostly grateful for being part of a wonderful family
