Hanging Out At Grandma's and Hazel's First Bath

I can not believe how big Miss "C" looks next to our little Empanada
Miss "H" has just started to take a "suckie"
Where Miss "C" has had hers for sometime.
I believe she was trying  to help Hazel break the habit
but an 8 month old only has so much EYE hand coordination
Miss "H" wanted her suckie back in her mouth but Miss "C" was tired of all the noise.
HEHEHEHEEEEE

Later in the day Miss Hazel got to have her very FIRST bath.
We found a little salad bowl to bath her in.
She really liked her bath.
I love watching Kira and Sergio with their little daughter.
They are such good parents and do as much as they can together in caring  for Miss Hazel.

Happy Birthday To My Sister

I have the most beautiful sister ever.
No matter her age...
She has just 2 real weaknesses

not the waffles...the chocolates

She is a great wife
has always stood by me...even dressing her girls in Red
she is such a good mom.
She has taught her kidlets to enjoy life and have fun
and more importantly she has taught her family to love their Father in Heaven.
I have always known she will have my back.
I love you Lene....
There is really nothing you could do about me being your sister
I am so grateful you chose to be my best friend.

Disclaimer: I "borrowed"most of  my pictures  for 'Lene's Blog

Celes and Hazel

it was fun to have Celes come over and see her new cousin.
Celes was a little concerned that Hazel was setting on her lap.

Give-A-Ways & Freebies

 I have a question....
Do you enter GIVE-A-WAYS
that you see on different blogs?

Do you enter ALL that you can?

..
Do you remember the drawings you enter?

I know this is going to sound kind of strange..
I have a hard time entering a drawing if  I do not follow the blog or visit often.
I have won blog give-a-ways and  I have really liked all of my "winnings".

I have seen some really cute things while I have been blog hopping....some I would really like to win...but I was just "hopping" ...so I did not enter them...

So,  tell me please...what do you do???

A favorite web site of mine is BakeSpace.com.  I liked their Daily Tips for Valentine's Day

DAILY TIP:Top5 Things to do with Leftover Valentine's Day Candy
After you get over your initial sugar high and hangover, try these nifty ideas to make the most of all that leftover candy.
  1. Make Hot Chocolate with Real Chocolate: Melt a 1 oz. mini chocolate bar into a mug of milk, making sure to stir frequently. It's especially tasty with rich chocolates such Dove miniatures.
  2. Spice Up Your Cooking: Try adding Red Hots to BBQ for a homemade chipotle sauce. Yum!
  3. Brownie Blends: Simply stir chopped candy directly into brownie batter. You can also sprinkle it as a topping or use it as a garnish for brownie sundaes.
  4. Savor it for Later: Place wrapped candy in a freezer bag and throw it in the freezer for later. Candy stored this way will last up to a year. When you're ready to use, simply thaw at room temperature (the whitish bloom' that develops on chocolate candy when it freezes will go away after it thaws).
  5. Make a Batch of Candy Coated Popcorn: Simply melt any type of leftover candy and use it as a glaze to coat popcorn (microwave or air-popped) in a large bowl. The key is to make sure the popcorn has no butter or salt (or as little as possible). Spread the glazed popcorn on a cookie sheet to dry, and voila: candy coated popcorn. Even better with nuts.
