I was pretty sure I needed to go and check out her blog.

not only has some great recipes but oh my gosh she made me laugh

and she shared some pretty fun Rules...

or as Kristan calls them

Do you remember when I told you that my Kitchen-Aid died (blog reminder)

Well, I started tearing my mixer apart to see if I could find a problem...

I had most of  it taken apart and on my counter, when I opened the two little black "screws" inside were located

the "mixer brushes" one on each side.

When I was looking I noticed one had a little nick on the black piece. I asked Kirk about it, I knew he would know if this could be a problem.

He said, "Yes, if the brushes are bad it will not work."

So, I got on-line and started looking to see if  I could find the brushes

Of all the places I found them on Ebay.

I ordered them and today they arrived (you have to have one for each side).

And when they were put into the mixer....

IT WORKED!!!!!

My KITCHEN-AID works!!!

and for less than $10.00 w/ shipping.

I am a very happy person.

2 Year Anniversary

  Have you ever had a moment when you think,

 boy that feels like yesterday and in the next breath you say,

" wow that seems like forever ago"?

That is how I feel about what happen just 2 years ago.

my little grand daughters have grown so much.

I love watching these two little cousins together. 

 If one of them makes a sound the other one will "talk" back. 

I like that they get to "hang out" together.

Life is good for this grandma.

We were able to witness Jordan and Tiffany be married.

Oh it was fun to see them both so happy!  We wished we could have spent time at the party after but my family was all heading in different directions with time restraints...

Kirk was on his way to Driggs, Idaho to meet a friend to go skiing at Grand Targee.

Josh, ALi and Miss C were already in Salt Lake City.

Kira, Sergio, Miss H and I were going to try to be in Salt Lake in less than 3 hours.

and Derek...well poor Derek was staying home to watch over everything (the dogs).

We made it to SLC just in time for Sergio to go to the Priesthood Session of Conference.

In the Assembly Hall on "Temple Square" they had the session translated into Spanish and so he went there to hear the speakers.  Josh and his brother in laws were listening in English in another building.

After the Priesthood session Kira and I met up with Sergio to take pictures.

The next morning we woke to....

no surprise...it is always raining or snowing conference weekend.

Kira and Sergio had tickets for the Sunday afternoon session of the LDS General Conference.

Tickets to conference do not cost, but are hard to get.

I was so excited for them! I kept thinking what a wonderful opportunity for Sergio.

I was snuggled in our hotel room with Miss H.

and Josh and Ali came to our hotel to watch Conference on TV with me

so I even got to hang out with Miss C.

Monday morning I had a regular clinic visit.

Good News, I get to cut back a little on the predniSONE.

I can not wait until I no longer have to take these

"Make your face fat, be careful because you never know when you might snap some one's head off"

Pills.

after the appointment...well things got even better...

We went and had lunch with Ro, Karen and the girls

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

Oh Boy I Messed Up

So, I thought I was being so smart...

I was looking at my PICASA Album and saw that I had several

duplicates and some pictures that well, I "didn't think" I needed to save in the Album...

BOY WAS I WRONG...

as you look through my blog you will see several boxes that look like this...

where there was a picture now there is just a blank box

I want to cry...

so,

DO NOT delete pictures from your  PICASA Album

Live and Learn....
