Someone asked me why I put up with Idaho winters. Well, this is why...

I am hoping to catch the Bald Eagle that has been hanging around too

That is so neat, but it sure looks cold there.

You missed a great birthday party!

I think I could put up with the Idaho winters too if I lived on that beautiful snake river! It's gorgeous Janiece!

As much as I hate driving in the snow (and I really, really, really, really hate driving in the snow) I can't imagine what life would be like without the calm, quiet beauty of our winters. Thanks for reminding me :)

Those pictures are gorgeous...I'm homesick for Burley, but really don't miss the snow...Amanda does though.
Thanks for keeping us in check...

Hi Janiece ~ those pictures are gorgeous! I think the same thing about why I live in this frigid cold part...but then I love all the changing of the seasons..and I love cuddling up when it's -40 outside!!!

I love Idaho and miss it there a lot! I don't love the winters, but they aren't that bad. I also love to bird watch. I used to watch birds with my grandpa when I was young. Maybe I should go visit him and watch birds and do genealogy. That would make him very happy. Thanks for the reminder of good memories.

You're so lucky to be living on the river! Do you get bad mosquitos in the summer?
