We have been watching. In fact the boyz have been asking if they can stay up late to watch rather than reading...you know they must be a big deal if they come before reading!
I'm usually all into the winter (and summer) olympics, but not this time. Maybe it's because of the state of the economy and how bad things are for so many. I'm more concerned with life and "reality" than TV.
I have watched a few events. I prefer the skating the most. The speed skating is fun too, simply because they go so fast. However, some of my favorite shows are daring to go up against the Olympics: 24 and Lost. Well, they win hands down! I had no idea what the motto was. And the opening ceremonies was toooo long! hahaha.
I enjoy watching the winter olympics more than the summer version, and this go-round is no exception. Plus, one of my brothers got me the official t-shirt and some other cool olympics things for my birthday, so I am feeling very connected to the 2010 games.
By the time they come on in Argentina...11pm, it's too late for us. Our daughter and family in Rochester, MN said her hubby is letting the kids (7andunder) stay up late to watch. They were excited about the men's figure skating finals last night. Dr. Petersen loves snow skiing--well all sports (except maybe cricket) so we are usually into all the Olympics.
We've been watching this year, but I think I've decided the summer games are my favorite. After about a half hour of watching, I need a blanket and want to turn the heater on because I get so cold watching all that snow!
I have never really gotten into the winter olympics other than figure skating and the snowboarding competitions. I just can't get excited about the skiing and everything else. I know that is a very dangerous comment considering who my father-in-law is!
I've been loving the Olympics, as I normally do. Landon, my 2 yr. old, has really been enjoying it too. I'm always very excited when it's Olympics time and this year is no exception. And that men's figure skating final was just AWESOME! I went to bed in such a good mood!

I haven't gotten into them either. I've caught a few bits and pieces, but haven't zoned in on them, at all. Not sure why.

I've been watching little snippets but nothing devotedly. My husband has been, though.
