"It Is Meant To Be Drove"

"It is meant to be drove", was the comment from my nieghbor George as he stood at the front door telling me to come go for a drive.
He has rebuilt this fantastic 1953 Chevy Pickup.
He took me down the lane, and then came to a stop opened the door and said, "now it's your turn". I was a bit freaked out...ok this truck is a classic, it doesn't have a key, and in 4th gear I think we might have been going 15 miles an hour, it is a standard...and WHAT IF I CRASH! George, is so cool, his answer was, I built it once I can build it again...So I went for a drive. What a fun way to start my Saturday morning.

This brings back some sweet memories. My dad has a truck like that. He is rebuilding it too.

Really Great job George. Oh how fun for you to drive Janiece. I bet you felt a little crazy giddy about the whole thing. It was so thoughtful of him to think of you.

Love the color. Wee Hee....Honk

That truck is amazing.

I always loved that '55 Chevy truck that Morris had. And I loved the '62 Chevy that I drove in high school. But neither one of them had the old trottle start like George's. I hope I get to see it in December!

Sister Burgess!!!!!!! I could keep putting exclamation points forever to convey my excitement at finding you. I was in Burley this last weekend and we went to the 24th celebration at Harris Pond, but I didn't see you there. I was really bummed about it. My blog is troyandbrittany.blogspot.com. So, come and read!!! I'm just so happy I found you!
