'Tis The Season

Before I had my heart attack, I would have as soon died of the flu as to have a flu shot. I had such a fear of needles...Now it is nothing but a thing...Besides it is better just to get it done, so that the next time I run into my doctor, at the grocery store, he doesn't have to shout In Kindness and some jest...Why haven't you got your flu shot yet!
That is one nice thing about a small community...your doctor knows you even if he doesn't have your chart in his hand...
The GYOB...now that is a whole nother story
UPDATE: I was afraid that I had given the wrong impression of my Dr. It amazes me that he would remembers ME

Good for you! I've administered a couple thousand flu shots in my day. It may not prevent you from getting the flu, but if you do get it, it won't be as bad.

I need to go get mine and maybe another pnumonia shot while I am at it.
Costco had their set up the other day, but I was with Big Daddy, LaLa and Ham and didn't think it was a good time to be standing in line.

I haven't had one in years. My luck I'll get it this year..
That is so funny that your DR yells that & knows you so well. But I have to say I've seen my Dr at my kids school & have gone up & asked him a question.. He has the personality of a rock & would never ever yell something in play to anyone...

I got my first one this year a couple of weeks ago. So far so good. Great Dr. and I am so sorry about your heart attack.

I love that you have a doctor that knows you on sight. It shouldn't but it actually amazes me!

PS if you send my your e-mail address I can add you to my blog when it goes private, if you want...

I need to do that. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it, if they actually guessed right at the strain of flu that will be going around this year...
