I love the day I see my first robin,
because I know that our long Idaho winter is about to come to a close.
This morning, I heard that old song coming from the back yard, I quickly made my way to find who was making the sound and there he was, my first Robin of 2009!

i love the first signs of spring... relief!
It was so warm a couple of weeks ago, and there were some robins eating some bugs in my front garden area. It was so exciting. And then my crocuses and tulips started poking up. And now it's like 10 degrees and blowing a million miles an hour! Are my tulips and crocuses going to die???
